These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Magn@tar Mail ("the Service"). By creating an account, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. The Service

Magn@tar Mail provides managed email hosting with spam and scam filtering. We provision a mailbox, apply filtering rules based on your preferences, and provide access via webmail and IMAP.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your password or allow unauthorized access to your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

You agree to provide accurate information during signup and to keep your contact email current so we can reach you about your account.

4. Filtering — No Guarantee

Important: Magn@tar Mail uses aggressive, multi-layered filtering designed to block the vast majority of spam, scams, and phishing attempts. While our filtering significantly outperforms standard email services, no filtering system can guarantee 100% accuracy. Occasionally, an unwanted email may reach your inbox, or a legitimate email may require you to check your Suspicious folder. Magn@tar Mail is not liable for any damages, losses, or harm resulting from emails that are filtered, missed, or delivered incorrectly. If you notice a filtering issue, contact us — we investigate and improve promptly.

We continuously improve our filtering and will make reasonable efforts to minimize false positives and false negatives. Customers can report filtering issues to us and we will investigate promptly.

5. Payment and Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly. A one-time $25 setup fee applies to new accounts. Payments are processed by Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.

All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. If a payment fails, we will notify you and may suspend your account after a reasonable grace period.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account portal. Your account will remain active until the end of the current billing period. Upon cancellation, your mailbox and data will be deleted within 30 days. We recommend exporting your email before cancelling.

7. Service Availability

We aim to provide reliable, continuous service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. Scheduled maintenance, unexpected outages, or circumstances beyond our control may occasionally interrupt the service. We will make reasonable efforts to minimize disruption and notify customers of planned maintenance in advance.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Magn@tar Mail shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or harm resulting from the use or inability to use the service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to the Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice. We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New Jersey.
